Troop 282’s policy on service hours is to have the Scouts volunteer for multiple service organizations. A maximum of 3 hours credit for service hours performed towards the current rank.  The 3 hour credit for each activity is a general assumption and it is the discretion of the Troop committee to override any of these service projects.

Example: For Star rank you need 6 hours of service time. You can perform 3 hours at two different organizations anytime after the date of your First Class rank.
